These immersive weekends offer the perfect blend of rowdy and restoration—featuring open skate sessions for both skateboarders and roller skaters, lakeside relaxation, silent disco under the stars, and deliciously catered campfire meals. Whether you’re looking to connect around the fire, let loose, level up your skate skills, or simply enjoy a peaceful escape, The Layback is a space where you can be your authentic, true self—always.

Layback - Breckenridge is a laid-back, community-focused weekend filled with skating and mini festival styled activities. After the sun sets, the fun continues with a lively silent disco, campfires, games, and plenty of opportunities for hanging out under the stars—all in the relaxed, creative spirit of a campout.

Layback — Leadville

SEPTEMBER 5TH-7TH

Layback - Leadville expands on everything in the Layback Breckenridge, with full catering (including snacks and an open bar), more wellness-focused activities like professionally guided movement meditation, and an even deeper emphasis on self-care and relaxation. Layback Leadville takes the weekend to the next level with a truly immersive mini festival experience.

Layback — Breckenridge

July 18-20

  • Breckenridge, Colorado
    We'll be gathering in Breckenridge and spending time at the local Breckenridge Skate Park. Exact location details will be shared after ticket purchase.

    A relaxed, community-centered weekend filled with movement, creativity, and connection. Enjoy laid-back skate sessions and beginner-friendly lessons, creativity, games, and evenings under the stars with a silent disco. Expect good food, new friends, and a casual campout vibe perfect for recharging and having fun.

    We'll be gathering near Turquoise Lake and spending time at the local Leadville Skate Park. Exact location details will be shared after ticket purchase.

    A deeper, more immersive weekend that blends skating, creativity, and intentional self-care. Along with all the fun of Layback Breckenridge—skate sessions, crafts, games, and a silent disco—this Layback includes full catering, an open bar, lake time and guided wellness experiences like Movement Medicine. Expect a festival-style vibe with space to move, rest, connect, and celebrate.

Info

  • Layback #1 will take place in Breckenridge Colorado, Friday July 18th - Sunday July 20th 2025

    Layback #2 will take place in Leadville Colorado, Friday September 5th - 7th 2025

  • Check-in for each Layback will take place on Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The event will officially conclude around 1:00 PM on each Sunday.

  • Women, trans and non-binary folks are welcome to join us!

  • 18+ to attend the event. 21+ to consume alcoholic beverages at the event. We will check IDs at check in.

  • The entire event is outdoors, rain or shine.

  • Yes, dogs are welcome! Please keep in mind that many other dogs may be attending, so your dog should be socialized, friendly, and comfortable around crowds and other pets. You are responsible for your dog at all times, including cleaning up after them.

    Be sure to bring everything your dog will need for the weekend, including a leash, food, water, and poop bags. Let’s work together to keep the space safe, clean, and enjoyable for everyone.

  • We are not offering single-day or single-night entry at this time. If you’re unable to attend the full event, the ticket price remains the same.

  • Pricing depends on the weekend selected: Layback— Breckenridge is $250
    Layback— Leadville is $420.

  • Tickets will not be available on the day of the event. Sales will close two weeks prior to each event or once the event sells out—whichever comes first.

  • All sales are final—no refunds or cancellations will be issued unless the event is postponed or canceled. Ticket exchanges may be permitted under certain circumstances.

  • Yes, you can use a payment plan through Afterpay. Afterpay splits your total into four interest-free payments, made every two weeks.

Travel

  • Yes, parking will be available to everyone.

  • Both events will be held in locations accessible to all types of vehicles.

  • While we don't organize official carpooling, we're happy to help connect attendees who want to share rides. Reducing the number of vehicles helps us minimize our footprint and makes parking easier for everyone. If you're open to carpooling, let us know after registration and we’ll do our best to match you with others in your area.

Camping

  • Yes, general camping is included with all tickets. No extra reservation is required—just show up, set up, and enjoy the weekend!

  • We welcome tent camping, car camping, and camper vans. Spots are available first-come, first-served, so we recommend arriving early during Friday check-in to claim your ideal spot.

    RVs and trailers are not permitted unless you have pre-arranged access (please contact us if you need accommodations).

  • Limited camp restrooms may be available within the camping area. Showers will not be available for either weekend. Please reach out with questions or concerns.

  • Essentials include your tent, sleeping bag, pillow, reusable water bottle, sun protection, skate equipment, and any personal items you need for the weekend. A more detailed packing list will become available after purchase.

Catering

  • Different tiers of catering will be available at each event.


    Layback— Breckenridge includes three meals, plus coffee, tea, non-alcoholic beverages, and beer.
    Layback— Leadville offers full catering including all meals(6 meals), snacks, and a wide selection of beverages(open bar).

  • Yes, we do our best to accommodate common dietary preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free options. Please let us know your dietary restrictions and preferences during registration so we can plan accordingly.

  • Yes, we can accommodate a range of dietary needs, including celiac disease and common food allergies such as gluten, dairy, nuts, and eggs.

    While all meals are prepared in shared kitchen spaces, our team takes dietary restrictions seriously—please let us know your needs during registration so we can prepare accordingly.

  • You are welcome to bring your own, food, snacks and beverages to either Layback.

    If you're attending Layback— Breckenridge, please note that you'll need to bring lunch for each day and breakfast for one morning. Snacks are always encouraged! We want you to feel comfortable throughout the weekend.

  • Absolutely! Each event will include a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, such as coffee, tea, water, and other refreshing options.

    Layback— Leadville will include mocktails.

    There’s a balance of movement, creativity, and downtime—designed to help you connect, unwind, and have fun.

  • Movement Medicine is a guided, mindful movement experience designed to help you connect with your body, release stress, and explore personal expression.

Skate

  • All skill levels are welcome! Whether you're a total beginner or have years of experience, you're encouraged to join and participate. Our sessions are designed to be inclusive and supportive, with space for everyone—from those taking their first push to skaters refining advanced tricks.

  • Yes! Skateboard and roller skate lessons are included with your ticket. Lessons are primarily focused on introductory and beginner techniques, but instructors can also help with select intermediate and advanced skills based on your experience level.

    Lessons will take place during our skate session for 1.5 hours and they are only open to the Layback campers.

  • Skateboards will be available upon request. You can request one during the ticket purchase process.

    Roller skate equipment will not be provided, as sizing varies widely and we want to ensure the best fit and comfort for each skater.

    Safety gear—including helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards—is strongly recommended, but not included. Please plan to bring your own if preferred.

  • Yes, our skate sessions will be open to the public just like our Lleky Skate Tour stops. However, lessons will be specifically for Layback campers.

  • Breckenridge Skate Park — Saturday July 19th @ 11AM-3PM

    Leadville Skate Park — Saturday September 6th @ 11AM-3PM

  • The skate session will be offered on day 2 of each Layback.

    Skate Session: 4 hours total
    Skate Lessons: 1.5 hours

  • An onsite medic will be available throughout the weekend. If you or someone near you needs assistance, please reach out to a staff member.

  • This is a zero-tolerance space for harassment, discrimination, or verbal abuse. Foul or aggressive language directed toward others will not be tolerated.

  • Absolutely. The Lleky Layback is a welcoming, affirming space for LGBTQIA+, trans, and non-binary individuals. We expect all attendees to show respect for people’s identities, pronouns, and lived experiences.
